The James R. Stewart Memorial award is given annually to a PMEA member who has gone above and beyond in their service to PMEA. The award was established in 1999 in honor of PMEA Past President Jim Stewart, the only president who has served two terms (1974-1976 and 1990-1992). Jim passed away on Sept. 24, 2013. Criteria may include length of service at the district and/or state level, multiple PMEA offices, NAfME Eastern Division and/or National Office. Any member of PMEA may submit a nomination for this award.

Awardees will be recognized during the PMEA Awards Breakfast on Saturday, April 17 as part of the 2027 PMEA Annual Conference at the Erie Bayfront Convention Center.

Deadline to submit is Wednesday, December 2.
